Ollur Panchayath is generally a wet area. For drinking water purposes, Panchayath has water supply systems such as pipe lines, wells, borewells, ponds etc. Almost whole of the Panchayath is provided with electric power and most of the streets have street lights. Drainage works for the flow of waste water is yet to be completed.

Panchayath also has Public Markets, Hatchery, Shopping Complexes at the main centres. There are sufficient Ration shops and Public Distribution Centres in the Panchayath area. Kalyana Mandapam, Audotorium, Town Hall and Mini Stadium provided by the Panchayath. In private sector, Lions Club Hall, Msgr. Kakkassery Hall and Parish Halls are also very useful to the public. Cinema Talkieses at Ollur and Anchery are the main entertainment centres. Reading Rooms & Libraries are provided by Panchayath, Parish Church, Clubs etc. There is a Helipad at Kuttanallur College ground, which can be developed as a Domestic Airport in future.
